Default Have Any of You Done a Virtual Job Fair?

I'm still job-hunting and had a major setback lending my laptop to DD for school-at-home this past spring (not to mention the hiring freezes in so many industries!) but my alma mater is sponsoring a virtual job fair on 7/22.

Other than the usual vagueness that happens with job fairs in general (which usually puts me off), I can't figure out what exactly a virtual fair means in practice.

Have any of you done one? What do I have to plan for? And do you have any tips for where I should focus my eyes when doing remote interviews? (If you try to do eye-contact, you're looking down; if you look at the camera, you look like a robot. I am very uncomfortable on camera, but I'm getting better!)

I did one that was put on by the hospital system my sister works for, so all the jobs were in that system, in her region and I believe it was run by the HR department with HR specialists for different departments/areas (like: housekeeping and cafeteria staff, another for nursing staff, one person answering questions for radiology, or pharmacy or respiratory etc) I was mainly looking for the salary range for my job, as I could only get general info from Glassdoor. It was by chat, and I am sure went further to video if I were to actually apply. The HR guy I chatted with still was hesitant to give me their salary range, giving me the excuse it depended on experience.

    Good luck with your search!
