Default Has anyone found a good home air filter that filters out virus'

Looking to freshen our air. We just got a Merv13 for the upstairs a/c that will catch the virus (supposedly). Looking for a filter for our open concept floor plan on the first floor.

I've been knee deep in research on this for DH's classroom (windows don't open - eek!). Based on the guidance here: https://theconversation.com/how-to-u...indoors-143732 combined with the discussion here: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/r...he-competition we ordered a Medify MA-112, which is likely overkill for your house unless you feel that there is a high chance of viral load in your house and want to error on the side of extreme caution. For us, it made sense, because there will be up to 30 teenage bodies in his classroom at a time.

We have an IQAir Health pro plus. I’m going to use it when my pod kids are inside the playroom.

We also have these at home (we all have terrible allergies to dust/grass/trees) and DH researched buying some for his office as they're supposed to be good at capturing the virus.
