Default Would love some streaming TV show recommendations!!

I don’t have much time to binge watch tv, but my 14 year old still manages to do so. Here are some of her recent recommendations.

    Away
    The Good Life
    Jane the Virgin
The Office (she watches this daily almost....I am over it)
    Cake Boss
    Nailed It!

We want to watch Cobra Kai as family but we haven’t started it yet.

Other shows I have watched in the past:
Outlander (1-3 on Netflix, not kid friendly)
    Poldark (Amazon Prime)
    The Good Wife
    Nashville
    Chicago Fire
    Chicago PD
    Gossip Girl
    Hart of Dixie

    My most recent binges

Why Women Kill (I signed up for the free 7 day trial of CBS all access, finished it and canceled...)
The Office, that took a while to binge watch through
    The Alienist
    Mrs. America

I watched 2 episodes of Utopia and I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm kind of hooked in.

And I'm on a kick of watching old 80s movies when I don't have a show to binge.

I subscribed to Acorn specifically for A Place to Call Home (even though I had seen it previously on PBS). Kind of a classy soap opera! Maybe it’s partly the accents.

A funny story about A Place to Call Home: the Library at my CCRC has a large DVD collection, including many series originally on PBS etc. While we're staying at home, these are all very well used. A Place to Call Home has been particularly popular with some of my neighbors who are eminent academics, and the biggest fan is a Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist! Pandemics bring out all sorts of interesting tastes...

If you liked Breaking Bad then Better Call Saul is a fantastic option! We are currently binging The Office.

I have to get to Cobra Kai, everyone seems to mention it!

Schitts Creek is amazing, I love it. The family watched it when lockdown first started. If/when we go back to lockdown I will watch again!

DH and I are finally watching Billions. It's so good.

When we went to Vegas this winter there were Billions themed slot machines. Never heard of the show and it has like 5+ seasons!

I just binged Life in Pieces Amazon and The Home Edit on Netflix. Also just watched Lenox Hill on Netflix but it is depressing.

So many good suggestions already - Never Have I Ever, Schitt's Creek, Cobra Kai etc.

Recently we've watched - Supestore (Hulu), The Goldbergs (watching now as a family), The Vow (on HBO), AP Bio and pen15 (this new season is more challenging though)

Other favorites: Succession, Babysitter's Club (so charming!), Sex Education, The Office, Parks & Recreation, Friends, The Mandalorian, Encore (on Disney plus)

Fun reality - Great British Baking Show/Bake Off, The Amazing Race, Selling Sunset

edited to add: Ted Lasso - I'm not sure how I forgot about this. It's on apple TV and is funny and touching. I love it!

If you have Apple TV, I recommend Central Park (a bit like Bob's Burgers), Mythic Quest (not kid safe, from the Sunny in Philadelphia crew), and especially Ted Lasso (heartwarming, charming, funny, makes me want to move to England)
