I can't believe I'm even asking this...eat or toss?

I went grocery shopping, DH unloaded the car. The next day (30 hours later) I noticed a pack of ground turkey had fallen out of the bag and had not been removed from the car. Temperature is in the 60s-70s. DH (with an iron stomach) seriously thinks it's fine to eat, and I am repulsed by the idea. I'm here for a reality check and maybe a helpful link about food safety if anyone has one to share.

I’m usually an “eat” person when there’s a debate, but there’s no way I could come close to justifying that in this case! Definitely toss.

Yes toss! I once left several packs of ground beef out of the freezer while I was searching for something at the bottom of our deep freezer. So it was frozen and sat out for at least a day before I found it and I tossed that, as it had completely thawed and was no longer cold. Fresh meat sitting out even a few hours in 70 degree weather would be a toss for me.

It may have been 60-70s outside, but in the car, whether in the garage, or outside would have gotten much warmer. Definitely toss.
