    Default DH - why???

Why did you spread wet clothes out on our bed and pillows to dry? You are 50. You should know better.

I expect this type of nonsense out of my tweenage son who is just learning about laundry. I don't have time to supervise a grown adult man.
A few weeks ago he did the kids laundry - everything together on nuclear high heat - and I had to throw out some of ds's clothes that were shrunken and no longer wearable.

I just can't deal with this crap and work a full time job. I went back upstairs to bring him a drying rack and he had put all the wet stuff back and texted me that "it wasn't wrecking anything" hoping he was on mute for his conference call and his coworkers did not hear my angry rant

It’s like he’s failing so he can get out of that chore.

I wish this was the case. I am happy to do his laundry because I can consolidate stuff into sensible loads and not wreck anything. But since he shifted to remote work back in March he will just randomly run interference by throwing stuff in the wash.

Oh my gosh, I'm sorry! tell him you prefer to keep this chore for yourself and if he can do X, Y, or Z that would be a great help.....
