How about A Good Neighborhood, I recently read it and loved it. Don't know if it might be too controversial?

This year, my book club loved "the Rent Collector" and also "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek." Also highly recommend "The Dutch House."

Last year we read "Flight of the Sparrow," which was GREAT and led to an excellent discussion.

Default Need Book Club suggestions for my Assisted Living/Independent Living facility...

    I second Big Little Lies.

All the Light We Cannot See is excellent. It’s nice because it’s shorter “chapters.” It might be confusing because it flips back and forth between many points of view. I read it for my college literature class and made a cheatsheet with the points of view per chapter...I’ll gladly send it to you if you’d like, if you go that route.

Thank you so much for the great suggestions!! I created a list and I've been looking at the book reviews on Amazon.
