Looking for ideas to give a few dear friends of mine. Im going to blame my lack of creativity on covid. I usually see something and just get it for friends. Any ideas are helpful. You all are awesome!

I just love browsing the small cute stores in our downtown area, lots of fun cups (like the ones that hold thin seltzer drinks), fun bracelets, cozy blankets and socks, candles. I really am avoiding online shopping, I want to support our local stores and enjoy the time alone in the stores looking at things.

I just bought these initial mugs for a few that report to me at work. I hope they look as nice in person (will include a gift certificate)

I also love shower gels, lotions, and scents from Philosophy. I bought 2 of these to split up an include as part of other gifts or small token gifts to office mates, etc.

Love the shop local idea. I am trying hard to do some more of that this year.
I gave out those Anthropologie mugs with matching coasters as hostess and thank you gifts to my stylist and cleaning lady a few years ago. I think I gave out like 10 of them and they were all really pretty and very much appreciated.
I rarely light candles and I’m definitely not a fragrance person but I truly love Illume candles and scents. You can buy them at Anthropologie, https://www.anthropologie.com/search?q=illume&sayt=true (and they are on sale right now), but I find a much nicer selection right at the Illume website. The scents are heavenly and for some reason don’t give me a headache. I live the balsam and cedar scent for Christmas/ winter time. The glass jars that some of them come in are really beautiful. I’ve given these as hostess/thank you gifts in the past.
Also wanted to add Lush products since I haven’t seen them mentioned. The lotions are heavenly and smell yummy. But I particularly love the massage bars. I use them as moisturizer and they last a long time. You can buy the tin to store them in which are kind of unique. https://www.lushusa.com/body/massage...999903861.html. This is such a good point. I’m still on crutches from my broken ankle or I’d be out in the local shops more. I sent Dh yesterday to a local candy shop to buy hostess gifts (although we aren’t attending their party this year, I still want to give them something for always inviting us), and he said the shops downtown are really hurting.
Local restaurant gift cards are a nice gift too.

We give a lot of consumable gifts. This year we are focusing on honey (found a wonderful local beekeeper, two actually). A mug, tea, and a small jar of honey is my go-to this year .
I’m giving my 2 besties a framed picture of us and our kids. We don’t usually exchange gifts, but this year is special!
