Default What are you shopping for this Black Friday?

I always try and remember to look for deals on every day stuff we need vs gifts. But, I'm just stumped today. Hate to let a good deal pass by!

    Brooks - 20% off
    New Balance - 30% off
    Playmobil 25% off
Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off

Ooh, I should subscribe to Nat Geo.
LEGOS are always on my black Friday list! It's about the only time they go on sale!

How is National Geographic these days? I haven't read one for years and years, but I was just telling my 11 y.o. the other day how fantastic it was reading them as a kid.

Have you found any good deals on Legos this year? It's one of the only things on my son's list.

I just bought some from Target. They had quite a few sets for 20-40% off.

I always buy my fancy "green" shampoo/conditioner https://truebotanicals.com/collections/hair-and-body and cosmetics https://www.laurenbrookecosmetiques.com/ on BF because they run sales. I also sometimes do nailpolish (Zoya had good sales last year, but I don't see them this year) and more cosmetics https://www.concreteminerals.com/

My DH started reading it in high school and never misses an issue. He loves it. We’re more conservative than most in regards to the media our kids consume. DH isn’t ready for our DC to read it. Last month there was an article about sex trafficking. Animals, planets, science articles are fine. It’s some of the other articles DS1 isn’t ready for yet. We’re thinking 15. YMMV

Cross check prices at WMart, Target and Amazon. I wouldn’t order from Lego.com now that they changed their return policy unless I couldn’t find the set elsewhere.

Joann Fabrics runs their solid-color tshirts on sale at 5 for $10. The boys use these for pajamas year round. Not super-tough, but you can't beat that price.
