I get it. It’s sad because they are great toys and so good for the kids. I’d much rather spend my money on legos than video games. I experienced that last year for the first time.
But I don’t think it means the kids are no longer interested in Legos, just that other gifts take higher priority on the list. Last year (or maybe the year before- it seems like years before COVID19 happened), I asked for the huge Hogwarts set for my birthday which is around Christmas time. The kids had no problem putting that together for me.
