The Kirkland Free and Clear detergent is fantastic! I don't notice any kind of fragrance and it works well. Persil detergent is amazing! It has been overseas for years, and often performs better than Tide (which is an industry comparison standard).
We've been using Nellie's Laundry Soda for the past year. It comes in a big bucket that says you can wash 800 loads and I believe it! (In a year we're maybe halfway through it.) I use it with vinegar as fabric softener and there's no scent at all. It seems to get out all the stink from my teen boy's clothes, too.
We ordered it from Costco - https://www.costco.com/nellie's-laun...100690054.html

Tide Free Powder for sure. I also use liquid Tide Free and Persil Free and have some Tide Free Pods that the kids use. I also have some scented tide with bleach that I use only for rags and towels.

I’ve used soapnuts for 15 years with both top load and front loaders. I’ll used all free and clear with sheets and towels when the little bag of nuts can’t agitate well. Will never go back
Sometimes need to supplement with a scoop of Oxiclean on really dirty clothes but usually not
We’ve been using Charlie’s soap for years. Works great for us. I do a prewash on stinky clothes.
We are using Kirkland free and clear but I do love Charlie’s.
Walmart has Tide Free and Clear powder. It is the only thing we use. We often have to get it in store or curbide pick up. They don't often have it in stock, but it can always be had in 1-2 days. I buy 2 at a time and it typically lasts me 8-12 months. It also works well with my well water.
