Yeah, the ones I am looking at are huge--almost like a small dining table. I will check into this though.

Default Can anyone find a coffee table that meets my requirements?

Think about Bassett Benchmade Modern coffee table. I love it, but it is pricey. They had plenty of Wood options. We weren’t thinking about this style at all but it goes well with our house.

I feel like we paid a little bit less than what the price of it is now back in August when we ordered it.

    ETA: saw you wanted square:

Almost all of the coffee tables I saw from Room & Board could be ordered in custom sizes and finishes, including 55x55.

This one looks nice! 55” square with pedestal. It comes in different wood stains from light to dark.

I really like this one. I'm not familiar with this store at all though--anyone ordered from Sierra Living Concepts?

I also didn't know you could customize tables at R&B so I will check there again.

I really appreciate all your responses. Seeing all the ideas helped me decide what I liked best. Anyway, we decided to have one custom made in a black walnut wood, which will be a dark brown wood color. I want to get opinions though on which style to go with. The table will be 50" and the wood is nice so that will be the focus of the table and the rest of the table will be simple, but I can't decide between a style with four legs or pedestal style. Please give your opinions on what you like, think is prettier/more classic/more trendy/etc.
