My mom had a CRV and now has a similarly sized small SUV. I find the back row to be small.

I am on my second Odyssey and will probably continue to replace them forever. But I have three kids including my 16 YO 6'2" man-child with a 13 YO brother right behind him in size. Plus we are DIY people and regularly pull the seats out of the van to haul large things like 4x8 pieces of plywood.

We decided on a Jeep. It's a good fit for our new home (private gravel and dirt roads), but it also has enough headroom, even in the back seat, for DS who is supposed to be 6'4" when grown. He's well on his way at 11yo and 5'9". It's just the three of us, so I don't worry about the lack of third row. The Jeep has plenty of cargo space for sports equipment, or both German Shepards. The only real downside we've found is that the gas mileage isn't great.
