Rick Riordan books. I’m sure that doesn’t qualify for what you ask but I’m always happy with any reading. He reads enough literature for school so I have no problem with him simply reading for enjoyment. That’s what I like to read too.

Ok. I wasn’t sure if you only wanted to hear from upscale literature type books. Land of Stories was a fun series.

My dd got quite a few from the Kellogg’s feeding reading program last fall. I’ve found they usually have good choices. I can’t find the full list but here are a few she enjoyed: Between Shades of Gray, The Sun Is Also a Star, Echo, The Running Dream, Darius the Great is Not Okay, The Alchemist
My 12 year old DD likes realistic fiction (not fantasy, sci fi, etc). She has recently enjoyed:
The Fault in our Stars
Everything Everything
The Sun is Also a Star
Five Feet Apart
The Hate U Give
Alexandria of Africa/Beverly Hills Maasai
The Running Dream
Tell Me Three Things
Rob Buyea books- The Mr. Terupt series and The Perfect Score/Secret
She also started reading some of the “No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency” books, but after the first 2 or 3 is taking a break.
I don’t know if I’d call all of those ‘good quality literature’, but they’re not total junk, and at least she’s reading (unlike my 10 year old who still doesn’t like to read for pleasure at all).

I love the Feeding Reading program!
I ordered the first two Mr Lemoncello's Library books for my DD, plus 4 others I'd either heard great things about (like A Tale Dark and Grimm by Adam Gidwitz, because she likes his Unicorn Rescue Society series) or had read myself as a kid (Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing remains a favorite; I got her Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great during the summer of 2019.)

At not quite 11, DD isn't ready for them yet, but I recommend Nnedi Okorafor's Akata Witch novels as well as her Binti series.
I also recommend Maggie Stiefvater's Raven King Cycle - the first book is The Raven Boys - and her stand-alone-but-I-want-more novel, All the Crooked Saints.
What has your DD read and enjoyed?
In middle school, I obsessed over classics I swiped from my dad's bookshelves, like Dracula by Bram Stoker and Frankenstein, or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, in addition to reading Anne Rice's vampire novels and "true" ghost stories/parapsychological investigations by various authors.
I was in 8th grade when Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton was published; I read it twice before we had to return it to the library ... and 13 times before the movie was released in 1993.

Wow, so many! I may have to come back and add later...
But for now:
Hook's Daughter:the untold tale of a pirate princess by R.V.Bowman
Arrows of the Queen by Mercedes Lackey (with sequels if interested)
The Pit Dragon trilogy by Jane Yolen
Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce the series is called Song of the Lioness
Green Rider by Kristen Britain (a whole series; seven I think?)
Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan (series called Ranger's Apprentice)
I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (Lorien Legacies)
My DD reads basically anything that involves a kid losing a parent, a friend dying, a sibling dying or middle school drama! Some of it she reads in a day, some take 2. I really don't care what she reads as long as she reads and she enjoys reading.
