Love it all. I think Gaga’s pin was a hat tip to the mockingjay.

It just all felt so hopeful and full of love.

Such a beautiful day! Loved Amanda Gorman! She’s gonna be a force in the years ahead.

But as a Deaf citizen with hearing kids, I also loved seeing Officer Andrea Hall signing the Pledge of Allegiance in ASL. She’s a child of a deaf father, like my boys are children of deaf parents. They loved seeing that inclusiveness.

That was a lovely moment. I was frustrated that CNN cut away from it to show people in the crowd. I wanted to see her sign the whole thing.

Happy Independence, I mean Inauguration Day! Amanda Gorman was amazing, and Biden's speech was SO inspiring.

    I loved seeing that too. <3 <3 <3

It was also inspiring to know that both the President and young poet Amanda Gorman have overcome speech impediments to share their powerful speeches and verse in front of a global audience. Diversity of all kinds embraced and lifted up, that's my America.

I was watching on CBS and thought the same thing. To know she was signing it so that everyone would be included and they weren't showing it was maddening!
