S/o of the n95 thread. A few posters mentioned eye protection there. I'm curious what others are using for Covid eye protection outside of a healthcare setting.

I do not wear any eye protection outside of work (I am in a nursing home). I wear a surgical or well fitting triple layer fabric mask when shopping or anywhere indoors.

Many years ago, XH ordered some kind of goggles with prescription lenses to use for sports. I wonder if that would work? Or if they have something similar for Covid?
I don't wear them outside of work. I bought some inexpesive safety glasses on Amazon--like, maybe $13

I don’t wear eye protection outside of work either. I just mask up.

I don't anymore, but in December pre-vaccine I would wear my N95 with surgical mask over and safety glasses whenever I went to the store. I think eye protection is pretty simple to obtain, and has been shown to prevent transmission in addition to masks, so I'm not sure why it's not recommended more often. My particular goggles are some that I got in anatomy lab as a med student, but whatever is comfortable from Home Depot or Amazon should be effective.
