Thank you all! I texted with her a little while ago and she seems a bit better. She has a wonderful GP who is in the loop and very happy with the care she is getting. She is taking ivermectin which is a good option I guess? FIL is in good spirits and still healthy. He took her some stuff from home so she was happy about that. I feel a little less panicky for now.

Ivermectin has been used in other countries with great success. It doesn't seem to be as widely used in the US, but hopefully that is changing. Originally Posted by Melaine

It is a drug used to treat lice. But it also must be used for horses, because my sister and her husband were able to order the horse version of it, as it is the same and they just need to convert for weight. Originally Posted by AngB
