    Default Scalp brush

Someone mentioned in another thread that a scalp brush made a significant difference for them (or their child). Can anyone recommend a brand? I’ve looked online and most that I’ve found have silicone spikes and that just doesn’t seem like it would be effective.

Both my kids use this type https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my scalp psoriasis. I've had it for probably 10 years and it's still going strong. I've never used the one my kids have so I can't speak to differences but it works for them.

I bought the one MaiseyDog said her kids use. Dd2 used it yesterday but she isn’t sure if it works or not. I will try it and see how it goes.

Thank you! I bought the one you use. That’s what I imagined when I read about scalp brushes. Do you have to be careful to not have it tangle your hair?

IT can tangle some but I find it untangles easily under shower spray. I recommend using it in small, back and forth motions, not circular and do it in sections.

    They are! I have these:

    https://www.amazon.com/Shampoo-Massa...s%2C168&sr=8-7

My scalp flakiness has been reduced a ton, and I don't feel like I'm missing bits of the back of my scalp when I'm washing my hair.

This is the exact same one we have per Amazon. It's really effective for DS2 - he has think straight hair but he keeps it relatively short.

I have thick wavy hair that's currently a tiny bit longer than shoulder-length.

I haven't noticed excessive tangling and I use it in small circular motions starting from my hairline & working my way back. The last time I washed my hair, I flipped my head upside-down to get more of the back and underside, and the flakes have been less noticeable.
