Default The organizations that somehow don't seem realize that we're in a pandemic

Anyone run into any of those? MTAC for Certificate of Merit is requiring an accompanist and we just found out. For us, that means playing with a youtube video. But this is more challenging than having a live pianist! Some players are using live pianists to play with which is a huge advantage. At least with string instruments masks work but I kind feel like this requirement should have been relaxed during a pandemic. DS2's teacher said that all the pianists in the area are being approached by a flute player who wants a live accompaniment and nobody wants to do it!

What organizational decisions have your heads spinning under the current circumstances?

not exactly, but in the same lines...

A friend took her very pregnant daughter to the drive-thru Covid testing site. After doing daughter's test, daughter asks "what will they do if the test comes back positive?", the testing person said "they'll just delay your surgery for three months, no big deal." Daughter says - "um, I'm having a C-section on Tuesday?"

No one had any idea, it stopped them all in their tracks, like deer in headlights.

We haven't had any of that. No youth sports since March 2020!
