Taking DS1 AND DS2 tomorrow. Yay! DS1 is 17 so had been eligible for a while but wanted to wait until tennis season ended, in case his arm is very sore (I had one day, the day after my 2nd dose, when my arm REALLY hurt and I could hardly move it at all). DS2 turned 12 in January, I'm just relieved to soon have us all vaccinated...

Adding our experience so far. 13 and 15yo got first doses today. So far so good, just slightly sore arms.

My sympathy to those of you worrying about reactions. My 15 yo has several serious food allergies and I had to Epi him for a reaction to amoxicillin once. I hope your experience is uneventful.

DS2 (12) got his today. He definitely has a sore arm. He had wanted to wait until after some competitions this upcoming week, but decided sooner is better really. I'm hoping his arm is better tomorrow.

DD (14) will get hers on Tuesday. She hates shots, but is very happy to be able to get it!

My son wants to see this in the theater so badly, but will have to settle for Disney + since he will be too young for the vaccine.

DS1 got his first dose yesterday. He was so nervous beforehand. I'm not sure if the person administering the shot was extra skilled or what, but DS1 did not even feel the needle. He had a sore arm yesterday, which lessened by this evening to the point that he says it feels back to normal. Hoping his 2nd shot is just as uneventful.

My 15yo dd got her first shot today. She has an anaphylactic allergy to yellow jackets and hornets and she had no trouble at all today. They had her wait 30 minutes after the shot (instead of 15) and I had her epipen at the ready, but it was totally uneventful. I hope that eases some people’s worries. I was stressed out about it as well.
