I think any wash of jacket would be fine. Just pick the one that is most versatile for your wardrobe not just this dress.

I think that one looks good! I also prefer dark wash jeans, but bought a medium wash denim jacket last fall. I've only worn it once or twice (because I haven't been going to my office much, and I bought it mostly to wear to work with a couple of dresses) but I do like it!

Default I Bought a Dress and It Needs Something

I like that Torrid jacket, and it’s a good price! I have a similar wash jacket. Just make sure it’s soft - hard denim jacket is too uncomfortable to wear for long

I didn't feel like accepting the cookies for Torrid so couldn't read the description. You'll want one with a bit of spandex for comfort. Soft material is good too!

I can't wear straight sizes right now - too broad in the shoulder & full in the chest, but thank you for the recommendation!

I'm building a wardrobe because my jeans have worn out at the thigh, so I can do pretty much anything.

I think a medium wash would be best for pieces I already have, too. I favor bright colors & loud prints; medium wash denim feels like a good way to temper that.
