11 & 15 ... Used to be 8 but dinner has been happening so late is really closer to 9/9:30. Except for Thursdays ..... Greys is on Th and long ago, I decided my parenting was going to stop at 8pm on TH.

They shower etc before dinner. After dinner, its time to brush teeth and go to bed. I know they both sneak reading with flashlights/the nightlight but so long as I dont hear them, I'm good.

For in person days, dd1's bus gets there at 6:50 so she has to get up by 6:15. On remote days, she gets out of bed at 7:28 to log in at 7;30.

10 year old is in bed by 8:15 on weekdays, 12 is 9:15, 16 tries to be in his room by 10:30, and 18...who knows. My two youngest are early risers so need sleep. All but 18 year old leave for school @7:30.

    Ages 9 and 6.

In bed with lights out by 8 most nights. Maybe 8:30-8:45 on weekends. DS (9) wakes up between 5-5:30 every day. Has since he was a baby. Doesn't change with a later bedtime. Asleep at 8 when head hits the pillow. DD (6) will toss and turn for 15-30 min before falling asleep. Sleeps until 6:30-7, usually I wake her up around this time, she sleeps a bit later on weekends. It's interesting to me that with the same environment, they have very different circadian rhythms, and I wonder how/if it will change as they get older!

DD is 13 (turning 14 next week) and it has gradually moved later. She is still a relatively early riser (up by 7am, often wakes earlier than that). It used to be in bed by 9pm or slightly later, now it is 9:30 and sometimes later. DH and I have had to adjust as we used to watch a show after she went to bed but since that has moved later, we don't have time for that!

Mine are 14 and 16. 14 year old usually heads to bed on his own around 10pm, but asleep maybe by 11pm? DD (16) is probably up til midnight most nights. I don't really know - I'm asleep before she is. They are in school full time. 14 year old has to be at school at 7am for band. 16 year old starts school at 9am

Probably not early enough, at least for DD (9) and DS2 (12). We get home around 8:30-9:00 from sports practices and they still need to eat and shower. Realistically, it's 10:00 before bed. They get up at 6:30 for school. The best part of virtual last fall was that my kids got more sleep and our schedule was more relaxed.

DS1 (15) needs to be in his room doing something quietly when we shut down the house so it's quiet for the other two but he regulates his bedtime. He's virtual and rolls out of bed at 7:20 to log on at 7:25.

7 year old DS2 goes up 8 for his shower/baths and read a book with me. Lights out by 830.

Ds1 4th grader and nearly 10 had a relaxed bedtime due to covid. Hybrid days with 9:30 pm nights before his virtual days. But it’s changing tomorrow as he returns 5 full days Monday, and needs to catch the bus by 7:35. That means back to pre covid bedtime of 9pm. Video games if playing gets cut off by 8pm

DS1 is 17 and responsible for his own schedule. He goes to bed way after I do. Still in remote school so has to be online (dressed and eaten breakfast) by 8:30 one day per week, by 9 the other days. On weekends he usually sleeps until 9ish or later.

DS2 is 12. We start nagging him to shower about 8:45-9 and he's usually in bed about 9:45-10. His school is hybrid- twice a week i have to wake him up about 7:30 to make the school bus by 8:15. Three days a week I usually wake him at 8 for online school starting at 9.

Default How old are your kids and what are their bedtimes?

Dd1 is 15. On the weekdays she is in bed lights out by 10:30 although with school starting full time in person this coming Monday I would really prefer 10 pm so we will see how it goes next week.

Dd2 is almost 11 and she has to start getting ready for bed by 8:00 and she needs to be in bed and reading no later than 8:45 and will read until 9:00 or 9:15. If she doesn’t get into bed until 9:15 she usually goes right to sleep and doesn’t fight it.

Shower time starts as close to 8 pm as possible especially for Dd2 who needs the hour from 8 to 9 to decompress. Dd1 will sometimes take a shower at 9 or 9:30, but then usually has no issue going right to bed.

Both girls wake up with little issue between 6:15 and 6:30. Dd1’s high school starts at 7:45 and Dd2’s school is right next door so we leave the house by 7:25 and bonus DD2 is never late for school which starts at 8.

Weekend wise they usually go to bed anytime between 9:30 and midnight. I am usually the first person in bed by 10:30 and they usually always go to bed after me. Weekend wake up time is between 7:30 and 9.
