Default Second dose - same arm or alternate?

Is there a recommendation for this? Getting my second dose of Moderna on Friday afternoon, first one was in the left arm (and I have a swollen lymph node on that side still). Should I stick to left arm or do right arm this time? We purposely planned to do nothing this weekend in case we end up feeling yucky from the shot.

Pharmacist asked DH if he had rash or petechia at his first injection site - if so, they'd do the other side. Otherwise it didn't matter. At least, that's what we were told!

I did the same, non-dominant arm. The second time around, I really exercised that arm and it wasn’t nearly as sore (more like regular flu shot sore)

I'm going to try that for my second! I'm considering getting it in my right arm. I apparently sleep on my left and it was more upsetting to my sleep than it was during the waking hours!

They gave me my shot in my left arm (driver's side of the car for drive up clinic) both times without even asking anything.

I chose non-dominant both times in case my arm was sore. My experience though was that my arm was very painful after the first shot, but not painful at all after the second (I felt miserable everywhere else after the second, but not my arm!).

I got mine in my non-dominant arm the first time. Second time I chose dominant and it hurt less. I think it was because I move that one so much more without realizing it.

I actually researched this casually for my second shot and it looks like it doesn't really matter. I did my left non-dominant both times to avoid pain in my right arm and mainly convenience since I did a drive-through vaccine clinic.

My friend purposely chose her dominant arm because she would move that one more to alleviate pain.
