Default What are Your Current Favorite Podcasts??

I got into listening to podcasts during quarantine. Usually, I listen when I'm doing stuff around the house or driving but I need some new ones. My focus has changed - probably want more interesting ones, or even entertaining vs. all news/science info now that we are trying to break out of our Covid bubble a bit. Can we do an updated version of recommended podcasts?

Some I listen to regularly are:
    The Daily
    Armchair Expert
    Pivot and Sway
    The Holderness Family
Not as often as before but TWiV and In the Bubble

I also enjoyed The Dream and Believed
Mom to Two Wild and Crazy Boys and One Sweet Baby Girl

I also enjoyed The Dream and Believed
Since you liked "The Dream", you might like "Illegal Tender". They have a segment on MLMs. I also enjoyed their episodes on Aubrey McClendon and on Anna Delvey.

"Pretend - a true crime documentary podcast" is about various con artists and people pretending to be someone else.

"Criminal" is great. True crime, but not true-crimey. It's like elevated true crime. Just different angles. Really like.

"California City" (re: basically a land scam) and "The Dropout" (re: Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos) are good ones about scammy people.

    I also enjoy "Smartless".

Another scammy one is "Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen".

I wish there was a way to download and sort your listening history! I know I have so many that I've enjoyed but there's no good way to keep track!.

I usually listen while I'm cleaning, but I feel weird blaring a sweary podcast with DH working upstairs (our house has a weird layout; he's on the 3rd floor/loft area, but it's mostly open and the sound carries) so I've fallen behind on my usual (Slate's Mom and Dad Are Fighting) which I've liked less as the format's shifted due to restructuring of the Slate company & the introduction of their paywall.

    Anyway, I'm also enjoying:

    Maintenance Phase
    You're Wrong About
    Seth Rudetsky's Back to School

    Liz
    DD (3/2010)

Cold is a good one if you like crime. Other than that I've been listening to a lot of health ones like Just Ingredients and ADHD ones from ADDitude.

My faves are Didn’t I Just Feed You and The Lazy Genius. I am subscribed to others but these two are the shows I listen to first.

You're Wrong About is my favorite!

Others that I listen to a lot:
    Dear Hank and John
    The Anthropocene Reviewed
    99% Invisible
    Planet Money
    Hidden Brian
    Invisibilia
Slate's Political Gabfest (probably the first podcast I got hooked on in the mid 2000s!)
    Revisionist History
    SciFri
    Science Vs
TWiV (but I often just listen to Daniel Griffin's clinical updates these days)
    Dear Prudence
    The Satellite Sisters
    Tara
living a crazy life with 3 boys

    I am thinking now
    of grief, and of getting past it;
    I feel my boots
    trying to leave the ground,
    I feel my heart
    pumping hard. I want
to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
    as though I had wings.

Thank you for all these suggestions. So many of the podcasts look like ones I'll like. Now to start cleaning so I can listen!
