We tested DS’s thyroid 3 months ago and his Free T3 was slightly elevated. She ordered a 3 month checkup because she thought it was a fluke. His results just loaded and his free T3 is higher than it was 3 months ago. All of his other numbers are good. He does have a higher heartbeat so I’m wondering if that’s the reason. He just got diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope with POTS tendacies and the cardiologist thought his heart rate was because he’s not fluid loading enough. Does anyone know anything about only the free T3 being high and none of the other results indicating hyperthyroidism? I’m guessing we’ll get a call tomorrow from his doctor for a referral to an endocrinologist, but I like to do my research ahead of time.
