Default Get vaccination with serious headcold?

As luck would have it, 3 of my kids have had a terrible headcold for the past 4-5 days complete with stuffed sinuses, drainage and bad sore throats. My Ds3 still has a terrible sore throat and is lethargic. No fevers. They are scheduled tomorrow to receive their 2nd COVID19 vaccination. Should we go ahead with the shot? Or wait til they are all feeling much better? Wwyd?

I would probably wait. I also think they would not give the shots with those symptoms.

I would wait. You want the body to be able to build the proper immunity and I’m not sure being sick would allow that. Not to mention if they have side effects it’ll make them feel even worse.

I'd wait. I'd also consider getting them tested for covid.

I'm amazed.

If you’re honest on the forms prior to the vaccine (which I’m sure you would be!) I don’t think the clinic would allow them to be vaccinated with those symptoms.

I volunteered at a vaccination clinic and we checked temps and asked if you aren't feeling well. If yes, they were not allowed to get the vaccine. I would reschedule and also get them tested for COVID to be safe.

Absolutely not! I’d also go get them tested for covid.
