Goodness. We live in a very rural, poorly vaccinated area. DS2 is 9. He wears his mask everywhere. He's usually the only person with one on unless I have mine on to support him. Every where we go we hear "He doesn't need to wear that" or "You can take that off." No. No he can't. Because you people are more than likely not vaccinated. We are 15 months into this, and we have to point out that someone is wearing a mask? I mean seriously. He's the one being responsible, and you're trying to talk him out of it like he's the one in the wrong. Luckily he doesn't care what people say to him and he tells them that no, he's not taking it off because he's not vaccinated. He's getting interviewed tonight by our local news station because he's part of the trial. I'm a bit worried he'll tell the reporter that people need to be masking because they aren't vaccinated, but at the same time I hope he does. He's right.
