    I hope this success (which, frankly, is frickin' huge!!) continues to improve her confidence and help her manage her anxiety.

    How wonderful to read this update! As a SLP I've had a few kiddos referred to me for selective mutism and have always referred families to mental health services, but worry they won't all follow through like you did. Great job mama!!!

    This is wonderful news!

    I agree on anxiety meds. I have 2 kiddos that take something for anxiety with two different diagnoses. They would be a mess without them.

    This is so wonderful!! I have a friend who has three out of six kids with selective mutism. As soon as they are old enough to start meds they see a change in them. I’m so glad it worked for her!
