Default Your favorite bedroom/house slippers for sweaty feet?

I would like to get a pair of nice bedroom/house slippers or shoes.

My feet get really hot & sweaty though so I don't want fur or shearling in the slippers.

I'm having trouble finding something that is comfortable and that won't make my feet sweaty!!

    Any suggestions?

Hmm, I sort of have a suggesion. I wear socks in crocs around the house. Maybe not the suggestion you were hoping for? Not exactly sexy. But they are comfortable and supportive. Mine get messy when I wear them in the yard and garden so I don’t want anything too fuzzy that can’t be washed. And my feet freeze in the winter here and I like that I can wear wool socks with them.

Do your feet get sweaty in the winter? If not, maybe you can have cozy, fuzzy slipppers for winter and something else for summer?

Why do you need footwear? Just trying to get a better sense. Is it because you need foot support? I’m all about barefoot though and never wear anything on my feet at home (well, socks if it’s cold).

I wear my Birkenstocks or Crocs Athens flip flops in the house all of the time. When it does get cold I wear Ugg slippers.

Prior to moving to my current house I rarely wore shoes in the house because we had a raised foundation so the floor had more give, but now that we have almost all tile (hardwood like) on cement slab I have to wear shoes around the house because the flooring is just too hard on my feet.

I also can’t do shearling or really hot slippers, and can’t go barefoot since that hurts my feet.

In the summer my indoor shoes/slippers are Crocs Literide slides. Very comfy and supportive, and easy to slip in and out of.

In the winter I wear Haflinger clogs, which are not fuzzy or furry. I love them- they are super comfy, I wear them with socks, and I don’t find them overly hot.. I think someone on this board may have recommended them years ago!

I wear classic crocs in the house. They have enough support and they're easy to put on and don't make my feet sweat. In the winter I wear them with socks.

I have sweaty feet and I wear Crocs flip flops in the house (even in winter haha). Classic Crocs with socks would be good if your feet get cold. Old Navy has EVA birk knock-offs that are really comfy, I have a pair for outside. I'm considering switching to those for inside because they have a thicker sole, and also have a pretty good heel cup, and I can wear them with socks.

To the OP who asked why footwear inside: for me I need the foot support, particularly as I've gotten older and have been losing the fat pad on the heel of my foot. I just need cushion there, and our house is mostly hardwood. As I've gotten older I'm finding that I really need a good heel cup as well - a good deep heel cup along with socks will help with the dry cracked heels.

Every few days I wear my crocs into the shower to give them a good sudsy rinse, and so my sweaty feet have never been an issue.

Another vote for Haflinger! Barefoot in the summer, with socks in the winter. I keep them on year-round inside.

I price watch them on Amazon, using camelcamelcamel… $70-$80 is my price range if I’m desperate, $50-$60 when I’m lucky.

I wear these around the house. They are very cush and so comfortable. Initially I felt like I was going to trip but got used to them quickly. They have saved my feet.
