Default Ways to clean out pores on teen?

DD has large pores, pretty filled with gunk. She uses a ton of stuff from the dermatologist, but none of it cleans them out. What's the best method? I see some Tweezerman pore cleaning tools on amazon, but would love to have some recs and instruction!

Google “skin gritting” if you dare. I have not tried this, just read about it somewhere.

I've heard about people taking their teens for regular facials to help with this.

(I personally have found that nothing has helped keep my pores clear as much as salicylic acid (2%).)

Yes to salicylic acid! I like Paula's Choice 2% BHA.

Paula’s Choice BHA broke me out like crazy.

Kiehls Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser was a game changer in the pore cleaning department but it has sadly been discontinued and it has been replaced by this one (which I haven’t tried), but it could be worth a shot.

Does the Derm do silk peels/ medical facials? Our office calls it a medical silk peel. It is covered by insurance.
