Wow, I am surprised by the low numbers! Everyone in my family had been tested somewhere from 6-12+ times if I had to guess. Testing is free and fairly available, but anytime someone had any symptoms we took them to be tested, especially the boys so they could return to school. And if I took one of them too get tested, I got a test too since I was there.
Maybe we get sniffles more often, allergies? We used the testing so often to determine if feeling crappy was allergies, cold or otherwise.
All tests were negative, and all of us that are old enough are vaccinated.

At least for us, my kids didn't have in person school at all last year (well DS2 was hybrid in person 2 days per week, but masked, distanced, and with plexiglass in 3 sides of the desks). And I'm still working at home. So there just wasn't any need to test. Lack of exposure around anyone also made it easy to not get any sniffles or any other symptoms.

Zero for all of us.
Me, twice... once before surgery (March '21) and once before my post-op in the hospital. Dh & DS - not at all.
I'm actually kind of surprised at how many have been tested here. I had mine done at the hospital itself, testing is hard to find here. I can't even find home tests anyplace locally.
My hairdresser and her adult daughter got stuck in Mexico for an extra 14 days because they tested positive on their departure test. They had no idea they were sick. They were ready to hop on the plane and their tests were both positive. They had to foot the bill to stay the extra 2 weeks and couldn't leave their room. They did end up coming down with symptoms a day or two later.

I'm amazed.

I’ve only been tested a couple times, for travel by car between states where it was required due to travel restrictions. My kids have been tested a lot more. We joke a lot that they are battling for most tested as they’ve been tested at different times for different reasons for the most part but it seems one always catches the other. DD will be tested Sunday bringing her to 8 I believe and DS is at 7 but since he’s unvaxed his first exposure at school will catapult him past DD.
