Default 9 year old intact son complaining of testicle pain?

My son has been complaining of pain since last night. At first I thought it was pain in his thigh but finally got more info that it sounds like one of his balls is hurting. He just acts like it’s sore when he moves.

Personally I'd take him to the pediatrician today.

Could be testicular torsion. If so, it needs to be taken care of ASAP.

Thank you. I did contact the ped but by the time I did he had basically stopped complaining. She told me to watch him and give him epsom salt bath but if it’s minor complaint just to wait it out. He is one who can have a very high pain tolerance but then also gets extremely whiney sometimes so I literally cannot tell. We went the chiro, went for a long walk and I think he got distracted and quit complaining so I’m guessing he’s fine.

Hope your son is better and it was not torsion.

Can I ask what you meant by “intact” son? I have heard of male dogs being referred to as “intact” if they have not been neutered but have never heard this term used for humans.

    Intact means uncircumcised.
