Mine are 3 years old and I have them on 4 windows. 3 out of the 4 don't roll up easily and sometimes it's just easier to grab the sides to help them roll up. Oddly, the ones on my largest window roll up perfectly. Also, because sometimes they don't roll up right the edges get caught up and now several of the edges are frayed and messy looking. They get excellent reviews, which is why I bought them, but I'm sure most people write reviews when they first buy them and not 2 years later after daily use. Maybe a more expensive brand is more durable?

I've decided to put day/night cellular shades in the rest of the house. We already have them on several windows and doors and like them. They are light filtering for day and blackout for night. I also like the blackout for blocking out the sun and heat during certain parts of the day.

Thanks for the review on durability of the zebra blinds! I’m definitely looking for a product that will last a while. Do you plan to go for cellular shades on sliding glass doors, too? Would it be two separate panels, or some other way? I’m drawn to the insulating properties of cellular shades, plus think it they look nice, too. I’m just stumped with the sliding doors.

There are cellular shades for sliding doors but they would run vertically. So imagine something like an accordion room divider. I guess you could have them installed on both sides of the doorway to meet in the middle but I think they’d look nicer just sliding out from one side

We don't have any sliding glass doors, only regular doors to the outside and French doors. Not sure what I'd do with sliding doors.
