Default What kind of toothbrush for a 12 year old?

My daughter is 12 and 1/2 years and her Phillips Sonicare kids electric toothbrush, she been using for several years died.. should I go for another kids electric toothbrush or can we get an adult electric toothbrush. We all have Philips electric toothbrush and have lots of extra brush heads so I am thinking same brand for her..

Oral B adult electric. No need for kids size. I’m sure Phillips is fine too. I just went with the Oral B because their dentist recommended it over the Sonicare.

We’ve been using Oral B for years. The heads are small enough to fit in kid mouths.

If she was brushing well with that one and liked it, go with the adult version at this point and the smallest and softest brush heads.

My DS2 is 12 and uses the regular Sonicare with the Sonicare kids heads (which are actually larger than my adult Sonicare DiamondClean heads). I only still had him using the kid's ones because he shared a bathroom with DS1 and it was easier to distinguish the 2 heads in the holder they have. Now that DS1 is out of the house I'll have DS2 use up the last of the kid's heads and then just switch to the adult ones so I'm not buying 2 different kinds.

We use Oral B because our orthodontist sells us the brush heads at cost. That way we can all get the heads for $6.

Dd2 (11.5) uses a Sonicare (as does DD1 who is 15). I think DD2’s might be the kids model as she got it with her orthodontic treatment. My kids had the kids Oral B and neither one really liked it.

Manual toothbrush wise they both like Nimbus extra soft and we getting them from our dentist.
