Possibly the one set of parents who knew their kid was the one case of "Penny up nose" in the documents Pfizer released.

One of the others that I know who was in the trial, found out yesterday her child got the placebo, so she is getting her child the real vaccine tomorrow.

We are in the moderna trial but got unblinded since Pfizer got EUA. They called me tonight and all three of mine got vaccines!

i recently found out too (my kids were also in Moderna trial) and both of mine got the vaccine! It was the best Christmas present ever!!

I'm curious how this works when you get unblinded because a treatment becomes available that isn't the one you are a part of. If you had received the placebo, would they have offered you the Moderna vaccine or were they doing it so people could go get the Pfizer vaccine?

The placebo cohort for our trial had the option to withdraw from trial and obtain vaccination on their own or crossover to the vaccinated cohort and receive the moderna vaccine at the trial site.

I am not sure in the dosage amount but I’m sure it’s in my consent. I can look it up.

My kids are so excited, they were jumping up and down when I told them.
