Yay! I'm glad for the representation. Honestly, that's just a really beautiful catalogue.

wow, i hadn't seen it. that is awesome!!
i have noticed that Athleta has become more inclusive as well in recent years - not just racial diversity but including women of different sizes, and AGES (most noticeable for me). A start change when basically all models were in 20-something skinny white women.

i agree representation is so important. as a Latina growing up in the midwest, i never saw anybody look like me in catalogues, EVER. i don't think many people realize the effect of that.

I love Boden. I wish more of their clothes fit my curvy body better because I often drool at their catalogs.

Honestly, I’ve noticed in the last few years that so many companies have upped their game as far as representing lots of different body shapes, colors and races. I love seeing plus sizes too. It really helps imagining how something is going to look on me when I can see it on different body shapes. After growing up in the 80’s and being over-exposed to the Super model, stick thin shapes, and watching all the damaging, unhealthy diets people would embark on to get that shape, ITS ABOUT TIME clothing manufacturers represented and celebrated real body sizes, shapes and colors.

I love it. And I have to say their models of color are the ones who usually sell me on an item because I can see how they would look on brown or dark skin
