Default PointMe: Need Reusable Masks That Do Not Touch Mouth

DD has bitten holes in many of her masks; she needs to wear a mask at school. She's been wearing the Old Navy kids' pleated style since summer 2020; she was not biting holes in her masks before last month. (I will be reaching out to her case manager with my concern about the mask holes next week.)

She doesn't like pleated disposables nor does she like KN95s, however, she does appreciate that the KN95s don't touch her mouth.

    Does such a thing exist - a machine-washable mask that basically feels/behaves most like a KN-95 but is not a KN-95?

One of those little plastic cage things that fit under the mask??? they can be tricky to find one that fits your face well but they do work well once you do.

Would something like this work: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1034494...224&utm_term=0 ?

If you search for 3d masks you would find more of them in children's and adult sizes.

I don’t have issues with Save the N95 masks touching my mouth from Etsy.

These are DD1 tested approved as well. She wears an XS. I wear a medium as an adult.

We like the original Enro masks, but they have a new Curv style that might work? They say it has a built in frame that creates room between your mouth and the mask. ETA: We have not tried the new style, however, so can’t vouch for it.

What age? My 12 year old DS2 really liked the size small Adidas molded face mask for soccer, but didn't end up using it because his glasses fogged up. They seem to have it cheaper on Amazon.

We love the BeHealthy BOTA KF94 "boat" masks and I'd love to find some of that shape. They don't touch the mouth and work well with my glasses.
These came up when i googled https://www.etsy.com/listing/7949100...-reusable-face

Thank you; I wasn't sure what the search term would be!

I thought about it, but she's wearing kid-size masks & they *just* fit. The cage thing might create gaps where we don't want them.

Happy Masks don't touch the mouth and are reusable. They are hand wash though. My kids have all moved on to disposable this year but when we all wore them last year, I washed once or twice and week and it didn't feel too inconvenient.
