    I can't believe we're more than halfway through this!

    I noticed that my balance was better today, even though I still can't hold the one-legged poses for very long.

    The last few days have been great. I've needed the more slow practices to suit my current mood. I will say that this 30-day practice seems much more low key and easier/accessible than prior year versions. I also think on the whole the practices are more consistently shorter with most being in the 20min range. I feel like prior years were more 25-35 mins with a few longer practices thrown in. I don't mind this, since I practice at 5:30am before work or after a run on the weekends, but it just seems different in my mind than all her other 30 day camps. I wonder if her explosion of followers during the pandemic helped inform this shift.

I'm amazed.

    Today was a good one! I was hesitant to get on the mat, as much exertion makes my chest hurt a bit (from Covid I guess) and just the few downward dogs and planks from yesterday brought that on. But today was very soothing and just what I needed after work and many phone calls to my kids' schools today about how to have them access work while out with Covid.

    I am thinking now
    of grief, and of getting past it;
    I feel my boots
    trying to leave the ground,
    I feel my heart
    pumping hard. I want
    to think again of dangerous and noble things.
    I want to be light and frolicsome.
    I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
    as though I had wings.

    I've been returning to day 6 periodically to continue to work those abs! After completing the daily practice.

    I'm now at 18 months of daily yoga, mostly YWA. Started July 2020...
