    Default Bad weather, ugh

DS1 and I are doing a college visit to U of Alabama on Thursday. It's about the worst weather I've seen them have, lol. High of 49 and rainy. So far, all but one college visit we've done has been in the rain. I was hoping he'd enjoy the sun and warm this week as a nice change of pace from Michigan, but I guess not. Just frustrating.

Bummer! Friday is forecasted to be sunny. Everything I’ve read lately about Alabama is that so many kids love the school. Hope it’s a great visit despite the rain!

When we visited 2 Seattle schools this summer, it rained the whole time. Not buckets but gross drizzle. DS said "no way" and didn't apply to either one. But we live in a place where rain is a rarity! At least your kiddos knows it can rain,. And at least 49 is probably warmer than Michigan right now!!!!!

But I am sorry--nothing like looking forward to sun and not having it!!!

Definitely warmer than Michigan! We get there today and it should be nice, so that's good. The main tour in by bus and that looks like the rainiest part of the day. Hopefully we get enough dry to be able to walk around and see campus.

Make sure to bring/buy your rain jackets and umbrellas.

    Have a great visit!

49 and rainy does seem kind of miserable! I always think the rain is tricky for tours because trying to stay dry makes "sightseeing" so much trickier! Will you be able to drive around in the car a little bit?

We brought umbrellas. The general tour is via bus so that helps. And then a handful of meetings that are inside.

We did drive and walk around today in the 63 and sunny weather!

Yes! Truly amazing. It's nearly a full ride plus a fifth year of tuition. It makes it worth coming down for a good look.

It turned out decent. Everyone apologized for the weather though. It did rain a bit but not much considering the forecast. It was pretty gloomy though.
