Individual large salad bowls

They are the diameter of a large dinner plate.

I was going to recommend these as well. DH gets really annoyed with them for non-salad dishes because the food cools off too quickly for him. But I love them for soup, salad, pasta, etc.

I have that one and a bigger one. Not actually sure of the dimensions of either.

I checked mine and the ones we use for "meal salads" are 10 cup, 2.5L or 2.4L. I like to have room to toss the salad without spilling it!

I use pottery barn soup bowls... They work great for larger (individual) salads

I just checked the size on our bowls, I’m not sure why they call them 1 quart serving bowls because mine held about 6 1/2 cups of water. It measures 8 1/4“ x 2 1/4“.

There are multiple options but I love the simple white, it goes with everything. ��

These 1 quart Corelle serving bowls are the best for big salads! No spill overs, easy to toss the salad. :-) Especially for a salad meal where people choose their own dressing and toppings! It’s light weight and fits in the dish washer. Amazon price seems high to me, I think I purchased mine at Fred Meyer (they have occasional Corelle sales)…and an outlet store.

Yeah last night I looked up how many cups is in a quart and it’s only four. I thought there is no way this is a four cup bowl LOL I find it much easier to mix salads in this versus the flatter ones, plus easy to carry without spilling. I eat huge salads when I’m having it for lunch.

I have the Corelle serving bowls that other posters linked. They are fantastic but can get pricey if you need to buy multiple. I went to IKEA recently, and they have similar size bowls for $2 piece. They are similar in materials to Corelle (opaque glass) and slightly heavier. But much cheaper than the Corelle version. I bought them because my family is recently into Cesar salads for dinner and the small Corelle bowls were not cutting it!

I think I've hit my breaking point of eating salad out of a serving bowl!

What bowls do you have/use for meal-size individual salads? I want to get a set of those, too, when I purchase new plates soon.

we use these light wooden bowls that are 10" across the top. we prefer the more shallow, wide type bowl for salad (also great for popcorn). these are great because they are really lightweight. Perfect for when it's just DH and i and we make the hearty salad for dinner while we watch TV on the couch! I got ours at a local restaurant supply store ages ago, but this is what they are:

we also have smaller sizes. they are great for snacks.
