    Default Sciatica or ?

I’ve been having pain in my hip, lower back, and knee. It’s moves around and even my groin hurts sometimes. It feels like what I had during pregnancy which I’d call sciatica but was never diagnosed. It’s a real pain and is preventing me from exercising and sleeping well. Any ideas?

Could be sciatica. Could also be something with the SI joint or hip flexors, or even hamstring. I highly recommend chiropractic care for such things. Especially one who doesn't just do back/neck adjustment but does whole body muscle work. My chiro is amazing. I messed up my back/hip just before xmas and it was my psoas. Some deep tissue work (which required him digging into my pelvis to get to the psaos from the front, yikes!) and some at home stretches he gave and after a few visits I was back to 100%.

I'm amazed.

I would make sure you get a thorough evaluation, including imaging if needed, before doing any PT or chiro. DH had what he described as "sciatic pain". Turned out that it was a herniated disc requiring surgery. The delay in diagnosis while they tried PT and chiro first left him with residual nerve damage.

If you want to do trigger point therapy on your psoas at home, this device is great for it. I just got it last month. I have the medium (red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0841T5PGJ...ing=UTF8&psc=1

Hillview, I get sciatica pain frequently but the pain doesn't move around. I agree with the others that you should probably get that checked out by a professional. My guess is that your pain in various places is due to your increased exercising. If you are around my age, you might have noticed that it doesn't take much to get hurt. TAKE IT EASY! And get that checked out. I hope it's nothing. You have been doing SO WELL with your new routine.
