Night before, obviously
Morning of, get all the last minute things in there
Two days before, just get rid of it already
Whenever someone else does it

"This is the ultimate weakness of violence: It multiplies evil and violence in the universe. It doesn't solve any problems." Martin Luther King, Jr.
None of the above?
I was going to post "none of the above too"! No trash pickup in our town. We take our trash to the town dump. Some residents sign up for private trash pickup. I don't mind taking our trash to the dump because I can go whenever I need to, like right before we go out of town for a long trip.

Morning of... We have too many animals that would love to get into the barrels (bears, coyotes, racoons, bobcats...). As some others chimed in, we don't have town trash pickup, we pay for private
We do not have trash bins here as there are trash dumpsters scattered throughout our alley
Usually the night before. Occasionally in the morning but that's risky because they can come early and it sucks if we miss it. If they haven't come by mid morning then I usually do add some last minute things (ie. clean out the fridge, etc.) but lately they've been early.

Morning of - they come at 7:30 so I’m often racing down in pjs trying to get it out. They drive to our garage so I only need to pull it out of the garage. We have too much wildlife to put it out overnight. Picking up spilled trash is no fun!
I'm so blessed....
Not my job!!!
I do not even know what day it happens. Practically the same with laundry and dishes. i married a saint.
