Default Beach Vacation.... and it snowed.

Our first real trip in years. Skipped 2018 as we were deep in construction on our house. DH's 50th Bday trip was canceled (Summer 2019), my Bday trip canceled (Summer 2020), and we got two days into our trip last summer before the RV broke (still waiting for parts now).

So we decided to spend a bit on a trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon for our 20th Anniversary, our first time for more than a single overnight without kid. (He's 13!)

It snowed and/or hailed every day we were there. At the beach. Sand with snow on it.

It was nice to get away, but we could only do about half of what we had planned.

    The vacation gods hate me.

Oh no! That's simply not fair! This weather lately has been crazy. It was 80 deg in NY on Thursday. It's 30 and snowing today.
I hope you at least enjoyed some quality time with your DH.

I am so sorry! I'm glad you were able to do some things, but that still sucks.

And yes, weather is bananas! This is literally the forecast this week where I live in NC:

That is insane!!! I’m so sorry!!!

While we were away at the tropics last week (our first international trip as a family since pandemic) was lovely & hot but NJ had same temps of 70’s and 80’s!!! Now it’s freezing at 30’s

Noooooo! I'm so sorry. That really stinks. Cannon Beach is super gorgeous in any weather but I'm sure that is NOT what you had in mind.

Not nice, Mother Nature! I'm so sorry, wish your first trip away in years could have been closer to what you planned. That stinks.

Oh snap! That's no fun at all. I'm so sorry! I know this must happen all over the world but the thought of snow meeting sand sounds...unappealing, lol.
