Default Is NSHSS membership worth it?

Dd1 qualified. Wondering if it is worth it or not there is a one time $75 fee.

What are they offering for the fee? I would say no but I don’t really know what they offer.

I’ve never heard of this organization. Is it new-ish? How does a student qualify?

If you research it is just a money maker, it is not the same as National Honor Society. They make it seem legit but it's not. I know our high school lets parents know it is not sanctioned by them and it doesn't mean anything.

Thank you all. I know about National Honor Society as I was a member of NJHS in 9th grade (my school was grades 7-9) and in high school in 11th and 12th grade. Her school has a chapter but they must do inductions in 11th grade because she is not a member yet.

Just wait for the real deal. Look up the requirements at your school and see if she’s set on qualifying.
