Lots of good stuff already mentioned.

We enjoyed the new Jumanji movies and Jungle Cruise. The Paddington movies are surprisingly good - charming, funny etc.

We thought my ten year old would like Goonies, but he asked to shut it off after about 15 minutes.

I find those so charming, plus the British actor cameos (like Peter Capaldi, who I adore!) are aces.

Default Fun family movies that we forgot about?

    Hits (no particular order):
    Mary Poppins
    The Sound of Music
    Overboard
    Miracle
    Cool Runnings
    Shrek series
How to Train Your Dragons series
    Night at the Museum
    Thor: Ragnarok
    Mr. Peabody and Sherman
    Men in Black
    The Wizard of Oz
    Mitchells vs. the Machines
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series
    The Love Bug
    The Parent Trap (both versions)
    Pollyanna
    The Lego Movies
    Star Wars (4, 5, & 6, plus Rogue One)
    Aladdin
    The Sandlot
    Charlotte’s Web
    Inside Out
Beauty and the Beast (both animated and live)
    Willow
    Annie (both versions)
    Peter Rabbit
    The Mighty Ducks 1 & 2
    Toy Story 1 & 2
Onward (not my favorite tbh but it isn’t awful)
Roman Holiday (although DD2 hated the ending when she watched it)

Might be questionable, but we love them anyways:

Big Trouble in Little China (might be too much for the littles, but since about age 8-9 dd2 has really liked this)

Shanghai Noon (kind of like Goonies it might be a little suggestive but nothing awful)

Kindergarten Cop (although the one kindergartners does say v@g-n@)

Goonies (although DD2 didn’t really like this until around 11….I guess when you are 8 or 9 in the 1980s and there are only a limited amount of movies you learn to like it)

    Guardians of the Galaxy series

Miss Congeniality (this one is tamer than The Proposal, which I won’t let DD2 watch yet)

    While You Were Sleeping

    My Big Fat Greek Wedding

    The Cutting Edge

    Get Smart

    Misses:
    Monsters Inc.
The Music Man (my kids were so not interested in this!)
Beethoven (this kind of scared Dd2….a few years ago though)
Homeward Bound (this is more of my miss because my sister watched this movie too much when I was a teen and she was about 5-10)
    Shrek 4
    Toy Story 3&4

I was going to suggest Charlottes Web, my girls loved that movie when they were younger. We recently watched Freaky Friday (Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan) and even DH was amused with it. Parent Trap is good too (either version). They liked The Three Musketeers with Charlie Sheen though there are scenes with drinking and implied behaviors towards women. Everafter with Drew Barrymore and Little Women with Winona Ryder are some of my favorites that my girls have also enjoyed.

I keep referencing this one and just realized DD hasn't seen it. It's generally tame, I agree, but warn that the setup at the beginning of the movie and the ending sequence might be a little scary for younger kids. (Honestly, the "v@gin@" kid's dad is a gynecologist, which basically made his typical "Kindergarten over-sharer" behaviors really easy to understand - he probably hears the terms at home frequently.)

Oh, and trivia tidbit, fans of The Goonies will recognize its setting, Astoria, OR.
