Default Please recommend a tried and true twin XL size mattress pad for dorm

Any recommendations for a good twin XL sized mattress pad for the dorm? I already purchased a mattress encasement (for bed bugs) and 3" topper. I just need the mattress pad now, which will be the final layer before the fitted sheet.

    Thanks for any recs!

Don’t have any experience with it yet since we bought it for the fall, but this is the one we purchased. https://www.target.com/p/pillow-top-...e/-/A-80784773

Best of luck. There’s so much to think of for the dorm room. I’m in the process of making a list for my son’s first aid kit

Why do you need a pad if you have a 3” topper?

My daughter needed a waterproof mattress pad/cover to protect the mattress. We got whatever we could find from Target or BBB.

I have had good luck with the Serta brand from Amazon. I also have the Casa Luna brand one from Target that is okay as well. I think both come in XL Twin.

We have waterproof mattress pad/covers on every bed in our house. We just get whatever Target has in stock and they've all been totally fine.

My daughter's dorm bed mattress topper came with a plush cover, so they fit together nicely and didn't slide around. Maybe return the topper and get that type? Hers was from Bed Bath and Beyond and wasn't super expensive at all.
