Underwear that doesn't give wedgies?

My daughter cannot find underwear that doesn't give her a wedgie. Does anyone know of brands that have good butt coverage?

Dd2 is still wearing Hanna Andersson classic or hipster unders in XL. I anticipate she has about a year left, if that in those. She is 5’4” and about 103lbs. She also has some Auden brand bikinis in an XS from Target that she says are okay. She is very cognizant of wedgies so finding something that worked other than Hanna Andersson was a bit of a challenge. Dd1 also likes the Jockey Comfies, and Modern Micro seam free underwear from Jockey (got them at Kohls and a local Jockey store). Dd1 is 5’5” and 125lbs. .

I love the Jockey Elance 100% cotton bikinis. Very comfy, good coverage, and never give me a wedgie. Since I discovered them years ago, I will not wear anything else.

Of course, these will only work if your daughter is in women’s sizes- you didn’t say her age. If she’s younger, my DDs like the 100% cotton Fruit of the Loom underwear. No wedgies reported! I think we pretty much always got them at Walmart.

Of the Costco ones I've tried, I like the Felina pima cotton hipsters and the Carole Hochman lace waistband high-cut briefs. Both have full wide butt coverage. I'm gonna have to check out the Jockeys described above.

I'm still on the hunt for cotton-rich underwear that minimizes VPL but that could be a unicorn...

These are affordable, cotton, and don't give any wedgie problems. YMMV but worth a try!

At that age I'd just get her the Soma Vanishing Edge undies. It's all I wear now.
