My DS is now in mens' sizes, too, and we got a Carhartt duck sherpa-lined jacket. He's unlikely to grow out of it in a single year and he's still so hard on his clothes! Hopefully this will be tough enough to last a while. DS is tall, also, and Carhartt has tall sizes that give the extra length in body and sleeve that he likes.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We'll probably go the Costco route when the time comes. I think I've seen the 32 degrees ones there. It's helpful to have their generous return policy in case of sizing issues.
