Default Anyone try the “new and improved” cetaphil?

Apparently they’ve completely reformulated their gentle cleanser. Reviews online are quite horrible! I have acne prone skin (yes at age 46!) and have been using and loving Cetaphil for over 30 years! Wondered if any of you have tried it? Also are there any similar cleansers in case it’s a bust?

I’m already going to check local drugstores for the old formula, lol.

No experience with the gentle cleanser, but I use several other Cetaphil products. While I was at CVS today, I noticed that several Cetaphil products have new labels. Ugh…

I am not a fan of Cetaphil cleanser but I have been using cerave’s cleanser which is slightly less slimy feeling and I have acne prone skin and it doesn’t irritate my skin.

Oh no!! I understand why they’ve made the changes but why can’t they keep both versions and give the new ones new names??

I saw the bottles changed to a light blue accent. Is that the new formula?

Yes. The ones I just picked up at Costco had light blue accents but it also clearly says "new and improved formula".

Dr Dray on youtube said it is worth trying the new cetaphil... I think maybe I'll try it. Although I know I can return my Costco purchase if it doesn't work out I'm hesitant to open that version since even though I'll get my money back it will be wasteful! I'll try a sample size first...

Honestly, I have not even noticed a difference. I'll have to look up the reviews you noted. I can't stand the Daily Cetaphil my husband uses. It's too strong and smelly for my face. yuk.
