Maybe not what you're looking for but I'm planning on joining in with A Bowl Full of Lemons Whole House Organization Challenge in January. Here's a link:

    https://www.abowlfulloflemons.net/20...lenge-kit.html

They have a FB group that is searchable associated with the challenge. I've done it before but not since 2020. My house is REALLY unorganized right now since my ankle injury. I'm not sure that my health/stress level will allow earlier cleaning attempts but starting in January I'm going gangbusters!

Thanks Bisous! I’ve done that one with success the last few years! I’ll participate again this year. I find myself with tons to do and lacking a plan on getting it done. I’m hoping by listing it I can just consult the list when I have free time and with the list won’t have to decide what needs doing.

That's a good idea! I noticed your list has some tasks that might not be contained in the big purge as well, such as digital files, and those are important!

I love this idea - a project a week. I’ll join. My house is a disaster. The last couple years I’ve been very busy with work and used my breaks to just rest. Usually I get some organizing done on breaks as I’m too busy during the school year.

I’ll make up a list and post it .

So my list so far, and I’ll come back and add more as I go. I’ll try to get multi-day projects done on my breaks from work. Or I could choose one project and chip away at it over a few weekends.

    1. Clean out pantry

    2. Garage - this will be a huge project

    3. Garden shed - as things in the garage need to go into the garden shed

    4. Finish painting windows - I did some touch up paint over the summer but didn’t get it all done

    5. Wash windows outside

    6. Cut back honeysuckle and kill roots - another project I only got half done and it’s grown back

    7. Wash outdoor couch cushion covers and clean back yard area

    8. Spray paint plant stands - couple summers ago I spray painted the metal outdoor furniture, except for 4 plant stands and it drives me nuts to see them not completed

    9. Plant new pots on front porch and back steps

    10. My closet

    11. My dresser

    12. My bedside table

    13. Office closet

    14. Kitchen cabinets and drawers

    15. Weed garden

    16. Finish submitting health FSA for 2022

    17. Digital files - personal

    18. 2022 taxes

    19. Digital files - work

    20. Digital photos and print photos

    21. Laundry room

    22. Hall closets

    23. Electrician to replace outdoor lights

    24. Get furnace/AC checked

    25. Upholster cleaner out to do couch and blinds

    26. Revise will and trust

    27. Filing cabinet purge

    28. Replants some areas of the garden, the succulent fountain etc

    29. Seal shower floor

I'll play! I've done a lot this past week/last weekend - I wanted to really get the common areas looking better before we got a tree/ decorated for Xmas. Now of course the decorating is 75% done so there's that mess but at least it's not on top of where we were clutter wise last month. And the back of my car is full of stuff to drop off.

I don't have a full list yet but this is a good exercise:

    - finish 2022 expense tracking/do taxes
    - My office: old letters, etc.
    - My office: papers to keep
    - My office: non paper supplies
    - storage shed
    - outdoor toy box
    - DD's closet
    - Garage: "Give away"/what is this thing/where is that missing piece section
    - Garage: kids stuff in the back of garage
    - Kitchen: foot pantry
    - Kitchen: baking pans, etc.
    - Laundry room: rags/extra towels
    - clear out old games (Osmo anyone?) under TV console
    - print and hang photos on the wall
    - desk for ds
    - clean up digital music, get back to burning CDs (we have a lot that can't be found on streaming services)

    Bigger projects
    - redo kids closets/rooms: maybe putting in Elfa
    - redo our bedroom we've talked about it for years but always have trouble getting started.
    - declutter reorganize the rest of the garage (but that requires DH participation)
    - do something about our kitchen pantry

1/2 the office is done and I have a plan for the other half.
I went through stuff in the basement. We have big shelving systems...and they were full and stuff was piled in front of them. I purged stuff and now everything fits back on the shelves.
I shoved random crap into a bin under our bed like 2 years ago. That bin of random crap has been dealt with.
