Oh good! I mean, no cancer is great but basal cell is much better than the alternative!

Just seeing this now, sending P&PT the removal and healing go well.
Thanks for update.

I’m glad it’s not too serious..
Was coming to offer P&PT for the original request, but so glad you've heard back and it's better than you were fearing. Will continue to send the P&PT though for the successful removal and recovery.

Good news — compared to his previous skin cancer, two things are better this time: as PPs have said, basal cell is less concerning and the location is much easier to work with.
I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my hairline almost 15 years ago (with Mohs surgery since it was on the face), and both the procedure and the healing were uneventful), with no recurrence. Since I moved to a CCRC, I think the majority of my friends have had skin cancer of various sorts with very few issues. Good luck!

I too came to offer prayers - I'm happy that is "all" it was. I hope treatment goes well.

Coming in late for p&pt, glad to hear the update and I hope the removal/recovery goes smoothly.
